I am anxious this cold night
though the reason is not clear
I see happiness all around me
and everyone is in good cheer
Yet I'm apprehensive about something
Though it could be nothing I guess
I've learned through the years to listen
to instinct, but it's not accurate, I confess
Anxiety is the worst, especially at
these special times of year
There is no place for it at all,
no place for a thing like fear.

It's horrible - the fear, not the poem! ooh. Times of feeling fidgety or oppressed, and sometimes not knowing just why. Fear is often at the root of it.
