Umbrella or Parasol.

Goldfinch60

We go through our lives

Avoiding those dark moments

That may lead to ways of sadness,

The tears of the rain washing away our joy.

Those tears may have another purpose,

To wash away the sadness,

So that joy once more pervades our lives.

The black umbrella we used,

Used to save us from the rain

May become a fine white parasol

That is used within the light,

The light of our souls,

That shines around us in all its glory,

In all its glory and wonder.

The light will never go out in my life, My Spirit will follow it for eternity.

Thanks ANDY ~ for all of us (irrespective of age or status) Life is always a mixture of Agony & Ecstasy ~ Showers & Sunshine. We use our inner strength to combat the former and embrace the latter. As you indicate the faithful BROLLY can function both as a PARAPLUIE and a PARASOL just as versatile as our INNER MAN ~ AMEN ~ Yours Brian
