A very odd man from Koblenz
who followed the latest trends
wore specs framed in red
on the top of his head
so he wouldn’t wear out the lens.

I could never wear my specs on top of my head - I would always be looking for them!
Nor can I - I need them all the time and its ever been thus.
Ahh makes sense M. lol. Some wear them on the end of their nose, to look distinguished or 'classical'.
I feel sorry for those with eyes in the back of their head - no nose to support them !
Lovely painting!
Great limerick, Michael. Well penned!
Thanks so much Fred.
There was a Young Girl from Hawaii
Who was extrovert
And far from SHYII
With a smile kool & pert
She pulled up her grass skirt
And showed me her HUMGAGAWAII
Thanks MIKE for another
Enigmatic Limerick 40+ !
Yours BRIAN
Thanks for another great Rural WC !
Wonder if Fred knew her - love the limerick Brian
THANKS MIKE ~ Love Limericks and I love HAWAIIAN WORDS ~ Yours BRIAN !
Very clever limerick. I'm blind as a bat, so it's either contacts or wearing glasses---the right way, lol! Also, a beautiful painting to accompany your limerick!
Thanks Christina - there's only way to wear them - properly or not at all. I am not ashamed to wear them and can't be doing with contacts so I wear them with pride.
Never knew that is why people do that. Makes perfect sense!
Cute limerick, Michael.
Yup - and when they take them off they wear a cap back to front cos the don't know if they're coming or going.
