If.
If lovers co-mingle who once Heaven breached,
if echoes of ardour pierce final silence,
when I wait in this void where stars collided
his kind voice I will hear.
If hearts now formless mold bodies from ether,
if in other worlds ghosts create substance,
when I kneel to plead for more solid assurance
his soft touch will I feel.
If spirits escape from restrictions of air,
if souls can revisit scenes of past bliss,
when I walk in dreams of remembered kisses
he will come to me there.

A beautiful poem without doubt, Fay, but it left me with a question: You shift from assertions in the last lines of the first and third stanzas, ('I will' and 'he will'), to a question in the second, ('will I'). Was this shift deliberate? Apologies if I've completely failed to comprehend your intent, my talented friend.
Tis still a statement my dear Louis - - that "will I feel" is meant as no question if you read again the previous line. Hope this helps with the question you asked above. You are so kindly interested in my ongoing work and I thank you wholeheartedly for your support and interest.

A Princess of the written word - Fay you are more - A Queen - Superb.
This strikes a CHORD with ME ~ FAY and I can read Myself and Angela into each of these verses ! Verse 1. She fills all my voids of Ardour Verse 2. When we need assurance in Life & Love ~ we turn to each other. Verse 3. ANGELA and I have been in a serious Relationship for 18 months and already we have a store of Precious Memories which lift us up when we are separated ~ AMEN !
