Into the lecture hall went the camera,
The hall was full,
All were listening intently
To this balding man in his wheelchair.
Looking around others were wheelchair bound,
Or disabled in some other way.
The lecturer was so positive about life,
No matter what problems it had thrown at you.
This man who had been so fit and healthy
Had recreated his life,
From a two-legged physical trainer
Into a wheel chair bound skier.
A skier on both snow and water,
World champion at both.
As he spoke, and the others listened
He came up with these words
That blew my mind.
“If your dreams do not scare you,
They are not big enough!”
