Thanks STEVE ~ I agree ~ we always have a glass of AMONTILADO and olives and smoked salmon canapés (note the acute accent !) as we gather in the Drawing Room prior to entering the Dining Room for Christmas Lunch at 2pm. We always flame the pudding with Hot Brandy ~ There will be 20 of us at the Ancestral Home for lunch ~ The Cook & Serving Maids will be very busy ! Long live the English Middle Classes. THANKS LOUIS ~ It is always a time for getting together ! It is so sad for Homeless People and those without Family or Friends ! In many TOWNS the SALVATION ARMY provide Christmas Dinner for the Lost & the Lonely ~ I helped one Year and it was a great experience ! BRIAN
