- Comment from author about the poem: An Edone - each line consists of one word and the letter count of each word increases by one. Plus a recent monotype print - I'm still experimenting with these - they're great fun.

Very befittingly.
It must be in the air I am just about to put up a FIB (Fibonacci sequence) poem which increases the vowels in a Fibonacci sequence
It's a numbers day today - reminds me of a friend now departed bless him.
When he saw pretty girl he would zone in on just one attribute - his saying was: today is a bum week, last week was a boobs week and next week is a boobs week, but this week is a bum week (or vice versa).
Probably not politically correct these days but it always makes me smile when I think of it.
A fine write Michael. I thought: Has 'E (he) DONE the poem?
I'm rather un-cultured, or I've lost he plot on edones! lol.
Edwards + one extra letter per line = edone : simples Cheers Orchi
Pronounced eedone to rhyme with moan - or if you want to pronounce some other way feel free - like ed-won for example - any other ideas on a postcard please. 🙂 🙂
The master of the mathematical poems does it again!
Cheers Fred - just for fun.
Have been enjoying your art lately sorry I haven’t been chiming in but some days I just read and don’t comment. Your work is alway worth a stop and look !
Always a pleasure when you look in Bill - thanks for the comment.
A poetic mathematical challenge well met, Michael! Kudos.
Thanks Louis - these are always a challenge.
HI MIKE ~ Loved the poem ~ the answer is NO !
Loved the MONOTYPE PRINT ~ Kind of mechanical dream ! I'm giving a talk on the History of the Bicycle and I will use it in my intro labelled as "A MECHANICAL DREAM" ~ A post is in the cheque to cover the ROYALTIES ~ OK ~ BRIAN
No need for cheque - just a donation to a charity of your choice LoL 🙂 (: Quite chuffed that you will be using it - thanks Brian.
Thanks MIKE ~ It hilited two key areas in my talk on the Development of the BIKE ! One is metal spokes and the other is thin wheels with pneumatic tyres and good tread (DUNLOPS) to reduce friction and increase grip and dispel water ~ it's all in the picture (if you look !). I've donated £5 to the Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen ~ which is a thankless Job in the Winter ~ OK ~ BRIAN
