Tune: Kingsfold

('I heard the voice of Jesus say')

********

Psalm 59 v.16-17

I will sing Lord of your power

You help me every hour

I will sing loud of your mercy

For you my defence be

And too my refuge in trouble

When unto you I call

To you, my strength, Lord will I sing

And grateful thanks here bring

Psalm 60 v.11-12

Give us help from trouble, for sure

The help of man is poor

'Tis vanity, but you we trust

Lord, though we small and dust

Through God we shall valiant do

He shall tread down, pursue

Our enemies, and we shall see

Through Him the victory

Psalm 61 v.1-2

Hear my cry, O God hear my prayer

I trust you always there

From ends of earth I cry to you

Come to me, me renew

When my heart it overwhelmed be

I to your refuge flee

Lead me to rock higher than I

Your saving presence nigh

Psalm 61 v.3-4

For you have been shelter to me

Tower from enemy

Strong, fortified, they cannot broach

When evil, they approach

I will abide, I shall not fall

In your tabernacle

For ever there I stay, remain

Your protection I gain

Psalm 62 v.7-8

In God [is] my salvation, glory

Rock of my strength He be

My refuge is in God, I hid

In Him, He to me bid

Trust in Him at all times, people

Pour out hearts, on Him call

For He a refuge for us e'er

We [are] kept with loving care
