The rain forms to snow crystals
as it falls down in midair
The rapid freeze shockingly
is something that is rare
The ice that is left behind
from the few days of sun
Is now my peril because of the freeze
All that is outdoors; there is no fun
I hope for the day the sun stays
when it comes and doesn't go away
It can melt the snow and ice
Oh, yes, that will be the day!
But for the next few months
snow is in my future to be sure
Looking forward to April and May
Because Spring is my only cure

Lovely easy style - thankfully here in middle England snow is but an occasional visitor but we suffer damp gray days which are so depressing - roll on the spring.

We keep our BUNNIES warm in their hutch
I understand the problem ~ You get TOO MUCH
Our only day of SNOW is GONE
Now we get none !
What a STATE you are in CHRISTINA ! Perfect in Spring & Summer & Autumn ~ I love the pictures from your STATE website ~ BUT there is always a price to pay and the SNOWBIRDS from Your State ~ now all spend an extra MONTH (March) in Sunny TAMPA ~ Florida ! I guess FRED had the best idea ~ when he moved to HAWAII ! Snow is strictly for the under 20's ~ So I accept your MOAN ~ Keep Warm ~ Keep Happy ~ WARM HUGS ~ Brother Brian ~ Its 55F here ! ******* (snow flake hugs !)

Very nicely written, Christina! Reminds me of the 'freezing rain' we often had during the winter months in Montreal, Canada. Even the smallest tree branches covered by ice, made them look like diamonds in the sunshine.
