Have we lost it?
It always used to be there,
We always looked forward
To the time that it would happen,
But it seems to have been lost.
All we see are visions of it.
We no longer have the real thing,
Is it so true that all we have are visons,
Visons of hope,
Visions of hope in a hope hungry world?

Maybe we displaced it, Goldie, but we never lost it!
Probably very true Fred.
A fine write and pic Gold.
Thanks Orchi.
Actually Hope lives next door to me - lovely lady. Joking aside another fine write Andy
Thank you Michael, we always live in hope.
I knows it Michael. As one Vicar said for the hymn lines 'You shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace' - lucky Joy, that she's going out with you!
The problem is ANDY ~ we have all become too self~centred and when we see a PROBLEM we pass by on the other side. I have HOPE & you have HOPE ~ BUT ~ for it to be effective we have to SHOW it and SHARE it ~ AMEN ! Yours hopefully BRIAN
Hope is there but many people do not believe it any more.
We always have hope Andy. I think sometimes we get caught up in the moment and forget that hope is there for us.
Very true AP, those 'moments' can be very distracting.
I feel the hope is there...but, with wanting instant gratification, we tend to
get lost in the process!(speaking for myself...no judgement on others)!
Great visual for your write! A great reminder not to lose hope! Therefore, it’s a must save! Going right into my favorites!
Thank you Laura, we must always have hope.
I ponder this thought quite often.... Great picture with the poem too....
Thank you virago, much appreciated.
Hope and positivity go hand in hand i feel. Luckily they both hold my hand firmly too.
Cliche - hope springs eternal.
Thinking more deepy about it i can't imagine existence without hope.
Very thought provoking wriiting sir.
