ARMAGEDDON !

BRIAN & ANGELA

NO CAT called Midge

NO walk in fridge

NO Sunday Evening Soirees

Playing Bridge

NO World-Wide-Web

NO hot Celeb

NO walking on the Shore

The Flow & Ebb

NO Freedom now

NO Sacred Cow

We all just have to

Muddle through somehow

NO pint of Beer

NO friendly cheer

The end has come

We LIVE & DIE ~ In FEAR !

NO Summer high ~ NO Warm July

NO Autumn breeze ~ NO falling leaves

NO Winter Snow ~ NO Spring flowers grow

WORLD DESOLATE ~ nowhere to go !

I just called to say  I LOVE YOU

I just called to say  HOW MUCH I CARE

I just called to say I LOVE YOU

And I mean that from the bottom of MY HEART !

Thanks for visiting ~ comments welcome ~ BRIAN XOXOX

The end is in sight ~ I'm just hopin' and prayin' it doesn't

come 'til 2084 when I will be 101 ! Love to ALL ~ BRIAN

THANKS STEVE ~ Just a personal attempt to bring the future into focus ~ I'm an OPTIMIST ~ but also a REALIST ~ Yours BRIAN

I know what you mean Brian. It will be so one day, though we may all hope it is 'sometime, never'.

        Love conquers all.

        • BRIAN & ANGELA

I agree ANDY ~ Faith ~ Hope ~ Love ~ now abideth these three ~ BUT ~ both Faith & Hope can fail ~ BUT ~ to survive the FUTURE the greatest of these virtues will always be LOVE ~ AMEN ! Thanks for reminding us ~ BROTHER BRIAN

Got to be one of your best Brian - I just love it - super write.

          • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thanks Michael ~ as so often my erstwhile MUSE is often tweeked by a SONG or a HYMN ! It lacks my usual optimism (but Black is Black ~ I want my Baby back ................ !) I hope to still be alive in 2080 (97 !) but the Global Prognosis is NOT good. Pleased you liked it (and the visual ?) it has FLOW ! Yours BRIAN

Oddly fun despite the content matter, probably my favorite I've seen from you thus far

            • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thanks AISLINN ~ pleased you saw the "quality" in it despite the inevitability of the SUBJECT ~ Yours BRIAN

              True but sad...
              Mio Caro Amico BRIAN...
              Che serà, serà...
              I don’t fear for me...
              but I do fear for
              our children!
              È un peccato!

              2084 sounds good to me!

              Un Forte Abbraccio e Baci...

              ~Laura~

GRAZIE LAURA ~ Si Cara Mia ~ Che sera sera ! When I consider the forecasts for the 21st C I'm less concerned that (as far as I know !) I'm not a DAD yet ! Baci ~ Abbracci e Amore Tu Amici de MPS ~ BRIAN

Good one Brian! It'll happen, sooner or later (preferably later!).

              • BRIAN & ANGELA

YES INDEED FRED ~ I guess those who already live in Paradise (HAWAII !) want Planet Earth to last forever ! Yours BRIAN

I like the nod to Lionel Richie's song! It's a great one, but a wonderful poem overall!! Does this mean you finally got snow? Hopefully the end comes later rather than sooner. Sisterly hugs, christina

Thanks CHRIS ~ One of my fave. songs ~ I changed the verses but added the chorus so people would know the source ! We have had heavy snow in North UK and people on the road linking England & Scotland were trapped in their cars for 7 hours ! Several accidents ! We got sleet so it didn't stick or drift ~ YET ~ more tomorrow ! Brotherly Hugs ~ BRIAN The picture is of a RED TELEPHONE BOX ! Now that most people have mobiles they are being phased out ! The smaller red pillar is a POST BOX ~ These are still very important and the letters are collected @ 9am Monday to Saturday ~ OK.
