I AM A VEGETABLE

My best friends call me SPUD

Roast or fried or mashed & bashed

I'm always very good !

Feel me ~ peel me ~ eat me

I am the perfect food !

 

I AM A VEGETABLE

White ~ yellow ~ green or brown

We live like Gods in fur lined pods

And never underground !

We love to freeze ~ we're beans 'n peas

So cute ~ bean shaped or round !

 

I AM A VEGETABLE

I'm good for you 'tis said

I stand on one leg all through day

Me heart is in me 'ed !

With Colly Flower ~ I'd make a perfect marriage

But alas I am just an 'umble Cabbage !

 

WE ARE VEG~ET~ABLES

We make your eyes look bright 

You should be eatin' five a DAY

Digestin' five a night !

We have amazing flavours

Without us DINNER just ain't RIGHT !

    Won't get into the dispute about beans etc being a fruit - but whatever they all are I love both fruit and veg and prefer it over meat - super write - will give the fusion some thought.

Yours BRIAN. I'm busy with the SPECIAL NEEDS students getting the College Vegetable Allotment ready for PLANTING ~ they love to grow things ! We have a GREENHOUSE (for tomatoes etc) and I have asked the Authorities if we could have CHUCKS as well ! My Parents have a big veggie patch and fruit bushes and trees ~ so I am used to horticulture ~ do your have a veggie patch ? Yours BRIAN @@@@@@@
