Erm, if it's an omen, does it mean that our country won't be great again until 150 years time - once in a blue moon?! doh!

I will agree with 'Sister Moon', but we know we don't worship the skies and stars.
It's from that hymn:' All creatures of our God and King'. I don't like the line in that of 'Thou most kind and gentle death'. Death can be a release, but it is still 'the last enemy that is to be destroyed'.
Bit chilly for it - dancing naked under that moon. I would swoon anyway!

Isn't it great to think that the Moon has seen everyone and everything that ever was on the earth - Cleopatra sat and watched her.......

A worthy tribute to that wonderous gift which keeps tides at bay and arranges the seasons etc etc etc - - where would this planet be without the light of the moon - a fine read Brian and I agree that documentary on T.V. was amazingly awesome.

Saw it on the way home from a restaurant last night - magical.

Didn't get to see the moon--cloudy and blizzard conditions. Sad!! Great poem though! Blue moon hugs--Christina

That moon was great, I took a picture of it from my back garden.

Thanks for this moon poem, Brian. What I expected to see when I got up that night at 3am, was a Super Blue Blood Moon (trifecta). All I saw was lit up clouds. Ah, well, have to wait another 150 years for the next one I guess! 🙂
