NOW FARP THE SHOTS

Michael Edwards

NOW FARP THE SHOTS

Fow tarp the shots

in slittering gunshine

rone the hays of revy gain.

In carf and scoat she stalked the wreet

a paragon of grood and wain

Though blision never murred by vist

no falms of quear for fattles bought

by toy of hance she fated chight

which she recalled in scretter rawled

to nurn the segativy tight.

    I don't do thinking any more - it's dangerous.
Sorted this write out by just saying it and the correct words just seem to come to mind. Mever write Clichael.

      You\'ve cracked it Andy.

Yes I wrote a piece which I wasn\'t happy with so thought I\'d play around with it and turn it into something different with hidden meaning 🙂 🙂 Mind you I had to veer from the original words in places for the sake of metre. I’ll publish it in its original form tomorrow.

Farping?! Swoon! A wood grite Michael.

A farp brings you out of a swoon quicker then smelling salts. Cheers O

Thanks MICHAEL for a Sunday Morning smile ! SPOONERISMS have always been feature of English Humour & Verse ! Our ENGLISH TEACHER was telling us of a CAT that fell from the window of the tenth story of a Tower Block. Was it hurt one innocent third former enquired ? Oh NO ~ Mister Spinks replied (much to the amusement of the rest of the class) "He just POPPED on his DRAWERS and ran off" I often use SPOONERISMS in general speech ! Yours BRIAN

And that also gave me a smile - thanks Brian

THANKS MICHAEL ~ PLEASED I RETURNED THE SMILE ! I was so taken with the SPOON\'S ~ I neglected the wood carvings ~ Love the TROUT and the \"doublet\" I saw as the \"Demise of the Twin Towers\" If you get a chance to visit the New Single Tower you will be impressed with the Memorial Twin Waterfalls on the \"footprints\" of the original Twin Towers. Angela thought they were a little too stark ~ How could they be ? I am pleased they rebuilt on the site a Tribute to the great American attitude \"We shall not be moved\" However TRUMP & PENCE are not well pleased about the new \"entente cordial\" between N & S Korea ! Brours YIAN !

Cheers Brian - the idea was that they should indicate seaweed but not sure it worked - twin towers is a better interpretation methinks.

Have to stamp out 'farping' on the 'Nothing-ever-too-exciting-must-ever-happen' Committee! lol.

              • Michael Edwards

You can't stamp on a farp but you can catch one in a colander - or so I'm told!
