Tune: Easter Hymn

('Jesus Christ is risen today')

'Alleluia!' after each line.

********

Psalm 1 v.2

Blessed are they who delight in law (Alleluia!)

Of the Lord, it their joy sure

And in that law meditate

Do they day and night, their state

Psalm 2 v.11

Serve the Lord with fear, rejoice

Knowing you made Him your choice

Tremble too, with lowly fear

His great name honour, revere

Psalm 3 v.3

Your Lord, are a shield for me

My glory, my Saviour be

And the lifter of my head

I not stay downcast nor dread

Psalm 3 v.8

Salvation belongs to the Lord

All is true, His living word

Your blessing is upon all

Your people, who on you call

Psalm 4 v.6

There be many who do say

Is there any good today?

Lord, lift up your countenance

Upon us, days be  bright thence

Psalm 5 v.8

Lead me in your righteousness

Keep me, in your way me bless

Because of enemies pace

Make your way straight [be]'fore my face

Psalm 8 v.1

O Lord our Lord, excellent

Is your name, it resplendent

In all the earth it known yet

Your glory above heavens set

Psalm 8 v.2

Out of mouth of babes, sucklings

You have ordained strength, praise rings

Because of your enemies

At sound of praises each flees

Psalm 9 v.1

I will praise you with whole heart

Employ and use every part

Will show forth your works, marvels

Trusting you, none ever falls

Psalm 9 v.16

The Lord is known by judgement

Which He carries out, has sent

The wicked snared by own hands

Their evil works, shifting sands

Psalm 5 v.11

Let all those that trust in yo

Rejoice, sing praises anew

Shout for joy, you them defend

Let them love you to the end

Psalm 5 v.12

For you Lord, the righteous bless

They serve you in humbleness

With favour you will surround

Them as with a shield renowned (Alleluia!)

Thanks Brian. Psalm 119 next? Not cheating if we break it down into 22 x 8 sections, though that might mean 22 more songs to sing. Arghh, I'm gonna sing 22 more songs - unbearable! lol.
