There we were once more,
Sitting in the coffee house,
My wife and I,
Just drinking, chatting and laughing.
I was watching the world go by
When I saw him,
A young man sitting at the table,
The table in the corner,
Tapping away at his laptop.
It could have been business,
It could have been pleasure.
He finished his coffee,
As he got up he made me think,
Because he did something so alien,
So alien to me,
He wiped over his laptop.
That seemed so very strange,
Very strange to me,
I haave know truble
Tiping on a durty screne.

"He's the Laptop Man
His name is DAN
He tops on his lap
Whenever he can !
And when He's
Finished ~ his LAP
Consigned to oblivion
Every TAP !
Love LIFE OF BRIAN (that's me !) sacrilegious but true to life. Personally I think GOD likes all these portrayals of JESUS ~ Like Godspell ~ Supastar etc because it makes people think about His SON ~ AMEN ! Thanks ANDY ~ Yours BRIAN
Thanks Brian.
Yes I love that song and might ask for it at my funeral - as for the poem it's another great fun write - love it Andy.
Thank you Michael, it is a great song.
Ditto to Michael's remark. Love it Andy.
Thank you AP most kind.
Goldi,
A great poem and song!
I hadn’t heard that song
in a while! A good reminder
to help us realize that we can find the good in chaos.
I love the two last lines!😂
~Laura~
Thank you Laura, that song is very meaningful in these days where all we hear about are the bad things in life.
Personally i view my laptop usage through a veil of filth. I have no idea how it gets there... in fact i'm going to clean it now........
amazing difference.
A timely reminder, thank you LOL I wonder how many others 'spring cleaned' the lappy today ?
Yes da there are probably many like us. I did think about cleaning it but I went and lay down in a darkened room until the feeling went away.
LOL i see you're a fan of DUST arising
That's good one Goldie. Reminds me of that question how can one tell that the secretary is Portugee? By the white-out on the screen!
