So you put washing up liquid in your Pinot Grigio eh?

    • Michael Edwards

A clean tasting wine I guess - good idea Andy.

Thanks MICHAEL ~ One liners are (relatively) easy to write but difficult to digest ~ I like the "pattern" of this poem and it's one I might plagiarise ! Now abideth these FOUR ~ but the greatest if these is: ELTON JOHN WITHOUT VOCALS He trained at the Royal Academy to be a CONCERT PIANIST ~ which he is ~ but his hands (a necessity for a pianist) were the wrong size & shape. When he left the Academy someone suggested he tried singing and the rest is MYSTERY ! the same is true of LIBERACE etc. Thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN

Thanks Brian - my favourite EJ song is 'A Song For Guy' in which he sings very little - lovely piece. Not so sure that these are that easy - they take a lot of thinking to get the words right and these have been continually adjusted over a period of time sitting in the draft.

Ha ha - a most unexpected read Michael - loved every line of clever description.

I am always smiling when I write these - pleased they give you a smile too - thanks Fay.

Laugh out loud at the Elton John quip, better sounds are heard at the mothers union under 12's karaoke festival i fear. What ever happened to that mans singing ability ...it used to be good but...
No 4 reminds me that the best place for silent discharge cannot be other than in the check-out queue on a friday night shopping trip accompanied by a disgraceful grimace 'pointed' at the person ahead of you in the queue.
Definately brought good fun to me again here... thank you.

I am minded of the peter Sellers lift sketch which always males me laugh - thanks Dusk.

Thank you so much, Michael, I got exactly four (4) smiles, so you should get four (4) stars!

            • Michael Edwards

Four smiles 4 today - thanks Fred.

You deceived me, I was going in for a sad read about love, and I came out with the corners of my mouth wrapped around the top of my head!

So pleased it gave you a big grin - this site can be a bit full of woe at times and we do need to smile.
