ENDANGERED.

Fay Slimm.

ENDANGERED

Very few wild things deserve to be feared,
humans make monsters to cringe away from.
Afraid those people not seizing truth's baton
know death by starvation is always severe.

Ignoring right justice for animal claims
makes wilderness life crave intervention.
Destruction appears as plans become selfish
yet nature, when given space, can be saved.

Hidden this inhumane interpretation
bringing hardship to species behaviour.
Abused wild creatures become endangered
thru' procedures of thoughtless caretakers.

Is the sheer greed for wealth from oil
the real reason behind habitat spoilers ?

I'm with you Fay - I think it's Greed at the bottom of most of the evils of the world..... and the perpetrators stand there looking so pleased with themselves.... but more and more there is good news if looked for.... the wind farms and solar farms (did you know they are going to put solar farms at Chernobyl!!!!) are taking hold - change will come!

What an interesting and informative comment dear Lorna - thank you so much for the visit today.

Greed and stubborn blindness alongside mistaken ideologies are the legacies which we are passing on to our innocent children - fine work Fay.

        • Fay Slimm.

Yes ill-thought out ideologies are to blame for some of these greedy moves against nature's wild creatures - thanks to both Michael and Lawless for your thoughts on this troubled subject.

Fracking in the Plains of America ~ exploiting the Virgin Oilfields of Alaska or Polluting the N Sea and the Bay of Mexico is all a result of Greedy 21st C Man in his search for the "Black Gold of Oil" ! We have all become too dependent on Electricity and the % of Urban Man increases day by day. In essence we are destroying the WORLD ! I'll be 100 in 2083 ~ BUT ~ what about our GRANDCHILDREN what legacy are we leaving them ! Yours as ever BRIAN X

            • Fay Slimm.

Indeed dear Brian what happens to our grandchildren who can never see the glories of living animals - a terrible abuse of the gifts we have been given on this precious planet. Thank you for your comments.

Not sure where this picture is from, but if money and power are involved, I agree with your poem. What a wonderful poem it was!

              • Fay Slimm.

Yes Christina that picture tells a whole story of how creatures are being taken from lands that provide them with food -- thank you for your visit and comment on this vital subject of taking proper care of animal life.

Good write Fay and it is not the greed for oil it is the greed for more, more money, more power and blow the world if it gets destroyed in their quest for more.
