LOVE'S STILLNESS.

Fay Slimm.

Love's Stillness.

Quiet's comfort, revealed by love
begets ease of flow
from fear that silence will appear
between firey hearts
showing the need for healing calm
as more reminder that
when spoken words bear no harm
hurtful moments soon
melt for while regret reverts stress
love's stillness returns
to dissipate pain and take away
relationship's curse,
showing forgiveness breeds virtue.

A fine write Fay. If we never risk 'relationship's curse', being a curse sometimes I feel, not always, we are like an oyster.
It is safe if never coming out of its shell, but missing out on good relationships.

Drop thy still dews of quietness
    Till all our strivings cease
Take from our souls ~ the strain and stress
And let our ordered lives confess
The beauty of thy PEACE !

Loved you poem FAY and it reminded me
of our SCHOOL HYMN ~ "Dear Lord and
Father of Mankind ~ Forgive our foolish ways"
We live in a very loud and much overstressed
World one longs for the Peace & Quiet in a rural
    community !
How are you getting on with the SNOW ?

It's almost a test isn't it - if two people can stay quiet together....... love it Fay!
