Her mind is in a whirl,
So mixed up within her world,
This wonderful woman of mine
Sinking in her dementia sea,
Drowning into the depths within her.
I keep on reaching down
And pull her to the surface,
But each time she sinks quicker
And sinks deeper into her strange world.
I am so afraid that one day
I will not be able to reach her,
Until that time when our Spirits join,
Join in our journey to Eternity.

May you always be together - emotional work Andy
Thank you Michael, we will be but not, I think, in this world.
Sensitive write Gold. Thinking of you both.
Thank you Orchi.
And we know it's true but it takes forever to accept this strange state of being there but not........ I'm sad for you Goldfinch.......she would love your poems.......
Sje still has her moments of clarity and does read some of my poems, selected ones as I could not show her some like this. Thank you for your understaning Lorna.
So sorry that this is happening but thinking of you both GF! Keep your mind on eternity!
Eternity will never fail us. Thank you Christine.
May your faith remain ever strong for surely we are challenged in this existence. Faith and hope are our strength, belief is our guide to the 'what will be'.
We lay naked before belief, clothed only in trust.
Deeply emotional writing from you today.
Thank you so much da for your kind and understanding words.
THANKS ANDY ~ All TCHAIKOVSKY'S Music is emotional and this piece perfectly complements the sadness in you Poem ~ straight from your grieving heart.
