Tune: Diademata

('Crown Him with many crowns')

Joel 3 v.14-21

********

Multitudes they be in

Valley of decision

The day of the LORD, it be near

He shall to them appear

Within that valley low

His judgements true shall know

And sun and moon shall darkened be

Stars withdraw shining, see

The LORD also shall roar

From Zion, Him implore

For mercy, His voice shall be heard

In Jerusalem stirred

He, and heavens, earth shake

He His people shall take

Shall be their hope, their refuge strong

Their harbour all life long

So shall they know that He

The LORD their God shall be

Dwells in Zion, the holy mount

Of all blessings the fount

Then shal His city be

Jerusalem, holy

No strangers shall pass through the land

He keeps it by His hand

Mountains and hills shall flow

With new wine and milk, so

Too shall rivers of Judah flow

Prosperity shall grow

There a fountain shall be

Shall water the valley

But enemies shall desolate

Be, that their end, their state

But Judah it shall dwell

Safe for ever and tell

Of God's residing with them all

They trust Him and not fall

Jerusalem, city

Capital town it be

They shall dwell secure evermore

Cleansed by the LORD, made pure

    Orchi,
    A very beautiful piece...
    words and music!
    ā€œJerusalem, city Capital
    town it beā€...
    I appreciate your hymns
    and writes more than ever!
    This week Iā€™m totally
    immersed in a master
    class of French Baroque
    music with my daughter
    in Prague, Czech Republic.
    An awesome experience!

You restoring that room still, M? Ah yes, you falling to bits yourself?!

        • Michael Edwards

Finished the room but now the other half is talking about the smallest bedroom - don't mind that so much as it's used as my dressing room - it's where I keep the armour.

CROWN HIM WITH MANY CROWNS ~ The essence of Congregational Singing ~ Have often sung it in the Royal Albert Hall with full orchestra ! It put me in mind of the CHRIST in GLORY tapestry in Coventry Cathedral ! We are on very very Holy Ground ! Loved the Poem a vision of the "New Jerusalem" where we shall dwell FOREVER WITH THE LORD ~ AMEN ~ Yours BROTHER BRIAN !
