MARCH WHEN…
M arch when birds sing
A nd small early flowers
R each out between showers
C ascading, celebrating and
H eralding spring.

- Comment from author about the poem: A bit late in the month but better late than never. The abstract hangs in my living room along with the painting posted yesterday. There are some paintings I just can't part with.

Wow, Michael!
I can just imagine the two
paintings hanging side
by side in your living room...
stunningly beautiful!
The contrast between
the two is EXCEPTIONAL!
I love the form and message of your acrostic poem! You are a master of your craft! Fantastic work!
Definitely “better late than never”!
~Laura~
I've got four in the living room plus two by another artist who was my mentor - now sadly no longer with us - I do miss him. So pleased you like the poem as well - short but sweet.
Very sweet!😊
I too can understand why you have those two paintings in your living room, they are both superb.
By the way the poem is good as well.
Thanks Andy - appreciated.
A fine write Michael. Hope so - Spring!
Bit like spring this morning - blue sky and raring to go.
Go where you might ask !
Shopping says I.
Oh fiddlystickloads !!
Ohhh the highlight of your day?! The local shops. Well, good to get outdoors if we can. Erm, it was blue sky. Clouds over now and again.
Still blue here!
Love the poem Michael - "reach out between snowstorms" would have been more accurate this year (here at least)...... the painting took my breath away! How nice to have a handy man like you around the house just creating more and more beauty! You're a useful fellow indeed!
I've just come in from gardening - first lawn cut and spring tidy up - and getting my vitamin D and a bit of sunshine. Now to write a poem I have an idea for - tomorrow painting all day. Tonight the AGM for the local Art Club. It's all go and I wish I was gone lol.
Stop and smell the cut grass!
What a beautiful poem Michael.
A delightful tribute to March.
Keep writing

Cheers Brian - I will certainly let you know if I write another acrostic - I really do appreciate your encouragement - yes it could be 'Wastewater or possibly the slopes of Etna although when I was there last year it was covered in cloud.
