MY AIM.

Fay Slimm.

My Aim.

From the first finger of misty light
fresh rays from
day's entrance shatter black chains

imperceptibly.

Breeze stirs dark dregs to a finish
as streaks of
summer beget break of new dawn

immaculately

An unsullied azure clearly displays
mystic zeal
by brushing up bits of stray grey

imposingly.

Sleep flits away to give day space
and furthers
my aim to unearth fresh challenge

impartially.

Caught in night's shawl is no place
to be when
sun's call entices taste for outing

immediately.

A fine write Fay. Arghh, plunged back into dark mornings soon, when the clocks change? Depends what time we get up! heehee.

        • Fay Slimm.

Ugh - - I know but it surely will not be long before Spring lightens the mornings too Orchi.

Yes, the hour will 'catch up' soon. We shall have lighter evenings anyway to start with! It's all downhill again from June 21st. A minute or two darker each day. Very negative thought there! lol.

                I concur with Tepo!
                Another magical write,
                my dear Fay!
Loved the opening of your write...
“From the first finger of misty light
                fresh rays from day’s entrance...”
It reminds me of the first
                breath we breathe in of
                Spring’s fresh air...as in
                your beautiful pic! All she
has to do is open that
                window abundant with
                sunshine and freshness!

                ~Laura~

                  • BRIAN & ANGELA

                    IMPERCEPTIBLY
                    IMMACULATELY
                    IMPOSINGLY
                    IMPARTIALLY
                    IMMEDIATE

All these adverbs harbour Spring FAY ~ but they also describe how you pen your daily ODE. I love to comment but alas IMPERFECTLY ! Love the JOY in the picture ~ It is the dorsal view of ANGELA at Daybreak ~ JOY ! Thanks for caring and sharing each day ~ Yours as ever ~ BRIAN

                    • Fay Slimm.

Yes the words chosen do really apply to the joys of Spring dear Brian - - so pleased you enjoyed the picture and poem about the changes this season makes to artists and poets in all walks of life.
