great write although the third line doesn't apply to either of my two sons or my son-in-law, It's a different generation although I was also on stand-by 27/7 in the event of any legal issues arising at the Hospital.

Thanks MIKE ~ Because I work in EDUCATION My Sundays are "Employment Free !" The only exception are Coastal Field Courses when often we are up to our waists in the briny singing "O hear us when we cry to thee ~ for those in peril on the sea" True what you say my Friends who are International Entrepreneurs are on the phone ~ or screen ALL DAY SUNDAY ~ which becomes a "Day of Pest" ~ Yours BRIAN

        Mio Caro Amico BRIAN,
Buongiorno e Buona Domenica Delle Palme!
A great write and a beautiful pic!
I do have to agree with Michael’s comment! With today’s generation, there’s always some sort of business they have to conduct 24/7! C’est la vie...(Questa è la vita dei nostri giovani!)
        Happy Palm Sunday!
Lasagna for us today! It’s always a very special day for my mom...as it was for my dad!
Un Forte Abbraccio e Baci per te ed ANGELA...

        ~Laura~

          • Laura🌻

            Absolutely!
            Lasagna today...
            Ravioli next Sunday!

Thanks STEVE ~ Pleased you liked the Poem & the Picture. You remember WW2 (1939 ~ 1945) ~ well History tells me (I was born in '83) that if the German High Command was asked by HITLER ~ how the WAR was going they always replied ALLES IN ORDNUNG ~ All in Order ! Yours BRIAN

Oohh yes, the Boer War only seems like yesterday too. I was in it, ya know!

It is a special Palm Sunday but I still had to shop and cook sunday dinner so...that's how I spend my sunday! Sister Christina

THANKS CHRIS ~ A Mother's work is never done ~ even on a Sunday ! I guess that's why so many American families eat out on a Sunday ~ The mega~Church we visited in Chicago has 14 Restaurants inside the Church ! Thanks for your comment ~ I never buy a Sunday Paper and try to avoid shopping on a Sunday it's just how we were raised ! Yours as ever ~ Hermano BRIAN (Sabbatarian ?)
