The Brevette, created by Emily Romano consists of a subject (noun), verb, and object (noun), in this exact order. The verb should show an ongoing action. This is done by spacing out the letters in the verb. There are only three words in the poem, giving it the title Brevette.

Got to be the easiest form to write – but can’t be doing with the spacing in the second word – seems pointless to me.

Another photo taken during the last week of hellebores - I have a whole collection of these beautiful plants from near black through maroon, red , pink, yellow, bi-coloured through to white - I just love them.

Never come across brevettes but it is an interesting way to write and like those you have written can be very powerful in their brevity.
    The flowers look wonderful.

Thanks Andy - they are useful as you can write them quite quickly whilst doing other things - like watching the TV - as for the hellebores they are so beautiful - I've got loads of seedlings coming on - just as well as they so expensive to buy as they don't usually bloom until they are at least two years old.

A fine write and pic Michael. Here's one from me: 'I Woz Ere'. Well, it has three words, but I've not quite got the hang of brevettes! lol.
