O MY GOD ~ I feel a bit nervous ~ when
I consider what is happening in my World !
PUTIN ~ East TRUMP ~ West BREXIT in between
THERESA MAY caught in all the Crossfire !
I fee like the Old Foundations are crumbling
I feel like I'm falling with NO SAFETY NET !
My World has slipped its moorings
Modern Weapons threaten to obliterate us
We have lost the Art of Love & Togetherness
We are turning our Unique Planet ~ into
A Rubbish Tip ! Interfering with Natural Cycles
There is NO GUARANTEE for the FUTURE !
BUT ~ You are still my GOD ~ I will trust in YOU
Whatever the FUTURE ~ You're still my SHEPHERD ~ AMEN

Thanks MICHAEL ~Pleased you liked it ! The 14 lines of a Sonnet are long enough to make a statement and not too long to make it boring. That's why I use them ~ this is Blank Verse sonnet and (if its not an acrostic !) I prefer the classical 6 6 2 form ! Yours BRIAN
A fine write Brian. Some say the 'O my God' bit as 'OMG'. Many may just say it as a by-word.
Similarly, when Thomas said 'My Lord and my God', in one sense it could sound a bit like 'OMG'. Oops!
We've got to catch a pesky fiend who goes around our town spraying 'OMG' everywhere. A phantom sprayer!
Yes indeed STEVE ~ In today's secular Society ~ The sacred becomes PROFANE ! It could stand for "One More Glitch" which is good description of today's Society ! I've changed to "O Lord my God" as in the hymn "How Great Though Art" Thanks for your comment ~ BRIAN

GRATZIE LAURA ~ CARA AMICA MIA ! Last night at Church we has a Concert by an Italian Gospel Choir from PISTOIA ~ very exciting I was able to talk to some of them in Italian and they actually understood me !
