Looking up from my world
I see the clouds,
Each one individually formed.
Unique,
Captured in a moment.
How can you capture a moment?
A moment that changes,
Changes as soon as you see it.
I will never see that image again,
But that moment
Will be forever in my memory,
As I go through my life,
Glorying in each moment.

- Comment from author about the poem: Just thinking about moments. The music is Cantus Arcticus by Einojuhani Rautavaara. You may not have heard of this piece before but it is certainly an interesting piece to listen to.

A fine write and clip Gold. I'm still in a tangle of moments - is it 'today' now, or 'tomorrow'? And when was 'yesterday', etc?! I ended up with a headache, trying to work it all out! lol.
Thanks Orchi.
Today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday!
Wait until tomorrow to worry about it - by then you will know the answer and there will be nothing to worry except whether tomorrow is the day after or today.
There is an adage among artists that you can never paint a sky incorrectly as there are limitless variations in both form and colour - no one can ever say you've got it wrong. Fine write Andy.
Very true Michael, it is only that moment that you see and then it has changed. Thanks for the kind comment.
Thanks ANDY ~ A very haunting tune and kinetic art video ~ ideal for a "middle of the week" WEDNESDAY !
I too love the transience of clouds and what they predict ! Nimbo-cumulus this morning heralding rain later ~ no need to water Mum's Plants this evening ! Thanks for caring & sharing ~ BRIAN ~ Just leaving for work ~ Teaching @ 10 ! Please check MY FAMILY ~ Thanks B !
Thanks Brian. I have had that piece of music for about twenty years now and it is one of those pieces of music that you can always hear something new in it.
What a wonderful video image (and music) to go along with your clouds!
Thank you Lorna, most kind.
Love those changing clouds. I have spent a lot of time in my youth trying to figure what shape each were.
Each moment you look they are unique.
Andy,
A great video which I enjoyed seeing and listening to! A wonderful choice for your write about the many memorable images you’ve stored in your mind!
~Laura~
Thank you Laura. Unfortunately at my age my mind is so full that each new image that come into my mid knocks one off the other end.
