I thanks the LORD that I've been blessed
With more than my share of HAPPINESS
To me the WORLD is a wonderful place
I'm he HAPPIEST person in the Human Race
I've always got a smile upon my face
I've got some SILVER ~ ain't got no GOLD
But I've got HAPPINESS in my Soul
Happiness is n Ocean Tide
A Waterfall fallin' down a Mountain Side
God's home in Heaven ~ with the Angels above
When I'm in the arms of the ONE I LOVE !
I see it in the SUNSHINE ~ Feel it in the AIR

I AM ~ following the Joy of Sunday ~ I love
my Job teaching Applied Science to Vocational
Students (17 to 30) who really love training to
be Caterers ~ Carers ~ Cosmeticians ~ Medical
Workers ~ Engineers ~ Building Trades etc etc
HAPPINESS is an attitude of mind ~ BE HAPPY !

I'm going to be cynical - 'course he's happy, he got away without paying his taxes! doh!
But a fine write Brian. I don't know the time-scale of the tax business and when he did this song.
Thanks STEVE ~ KEN is now in HEAVEN ~ They put a tickling stick in His Coffin ~ so Heaven will be a happier place. Like lots of my Scouse Relatives Ken's Money was all in FIVERS in cases under the BED ~ NO BANK ~ NO TAX ~ The video was Ken about 20 years ago (last Century !) The lads in Walton Prison ~ were all disappointed when KEN was NOT sent to Jail ~ it would have been a HAPPY PLACE with KEN ! Thanks for your comments BRIAN !
It can't be excused though. I mean, you yourself and many others have to pay taxes. The non tax-payers 'rob' the tax-payers in a way. He couldn't take it with him anyway. There's others do it too, so not to be too harsh on just one person. Rant over!

I can be a terrible 'fair-weather Christian' sometimes. I know our mood should not depend on the weather or other outward things really.

Happiness is very healthy! When we’re happy, we feel we can accomplish almost anything...and possibly we can!
I did learn a bit about Ken Dodd through your poem! There are plenty of tax evaders here also!

Thanks LAURA ~ Nostra Bella Amica ! KEN was a great Comedian & Singer and was performing right up to the last month of His Life. He liked to be paid in CASH (like all Liverpudlians) in that way the Government never knew how much he really earned ! They assumed he was a Multi~Millionaire (which he wasn't ) and he lived and died in the same House he was born in in Knotty Ash ! When he was Young he sold Feather Dusters (tickling sticks !) from the back of a van ~ to earn a crust ! Basically he was just a Funny Man who could sing ~ AMEN Grazie per tuo commento ! Thanks CHRIS ~ I always \\\"Count my Blessings\\\" and recently I have had so many it keeps me Happy 24/7 hence my commen at the end of the Poem ! Happiness is infectious ~ When I smile other smile back ! I never frown and when I was a TEEN in the Boy Scouts my nickname was SMILER ~ so i guess I always been Happy Child ~ Boy ~ Man ! Being a CHRISTIAN Helps and JOY is a Fruit of the Spirit ! On the other hand I know People (in my age group 30 to 40 and Older) who are always miserable ! All the People in my Church are generally HAPPY and content with their lives ! Contentment with Godliness is the \\\"Secret of Happiness\\\" !
