RAINBOW IN A NEW ZEALAND VALLEY ~ BEAUTIFUL !
A RAINBOW ~ a combination of
RAIN & SUNSHINE ~ two opposites
ALWAYS speaks of GOD's promise
"I WILL love the Earth ~ and I will
NEVER destroy my CREATION
BY FLOOD again !" So remember whenever
ONE sees a RAINBOW ~ To thank GOD
WITHOUT WHOM ~ there would be no LIFE !
VALLEY of RAINBOWS ~ New Zealand
A LONG way from the UK (11,500 miles !)
LOVELY COUNTRY ~ and I know ANGELA will .....
LOVE New Zealand ~ working there for a YEAR !
EVERY DAY ~ We will miss each other ~ but a
YEAR passes quickly when you are in LOVE !

What a beautiful picture and appealing song - - glad I was able to pop in for a few moments and caught this sad-happy posting on an imminent parting of twelve months - - best wishes to Angela as she discovers the grandeur of New Zealand. As your sonnet makes clear dear Brian -time flows by so quickly when love's in the air.

It's been a while since I've seen an acrostic poem and didn't know that a sonnet could be created in that format. I loved the creative verses you incorporated with the letters!

Some of us are CLASSICAL Poets and like writing ACROSTICS and SONNETS etc. I like an ACROSTIC that has 14 letters and then I can write it in SONNET FORM. THANKS FOR YOUR ASSURANCE SISTER ~ Yesterday on the Ladies @ Church we call Aunty Audrey gave us a SCRIPTURE which said "The LORD watch between us while we are apart !" So we will be sad and some days (Fridays !) lonely but never worried. New Zealand is one of the safest Countries in the WORLD and the ALL BLACKS (NZ Rugby Team) are all Gentlemen especially the Maoris ! Maxine is as you know from MANCHESTER.
