PREJUDICES

PREJUDICES

As clothes that wave in drying winds

are anchored to a tight drawn line

so thoughts ideas and hopes and dreams

that float within a searching mind

are bound to prejudices held.

Good write, may those prejudices soon be dispelled.

A fine write and pic Michael. Ohh it's too psychological this time of day - and far too long a word for this time of day. See ya later, when I've had a lie down to recover!

Thanks MIKE for the "BEAUTY" of the Flowers and the "WARNING" in the Poem. Thanks for DALI ~ I have posted "The Persistence of Memories" hope that was an apt choice ! Please check my SENRYU on LADIES ! Yours BRIAN ~ Unprejudiced ?

Great analogy, whereas the thinking mind IS on a flexible 'line', those prejudices are ever present to trip us up.

Are they still there when we're 'pegged - out?' ... sorry, couldn't resist that.

Thanks dusk - may be pegged out but at least they are clean !! 🙂

      Michael,
      Spot on with this write!

Love the pic of dainty flowers!

No spots Laura - the washing is clean Lol

The flower is a potentilla - love this particular variety as it's a ground hugger and blooms throughout the summer.

          Ready to be worn...I’m sure!😂🧦👕

          “a ground hugger”...I like that!

So true. We have to get past any prejudices before we can truly open our minds and hearts to new people, things and even experiences. Great write Mr Michael!

Sadly we all have all have fixed ideas - some may even be of benefit but others are dangerous or prejudicial - that's where the troubles start. Thanks SLR
