THANKS MICHAEL ~ Pleased it ruffled your petals ~ BRIAN !

A fine write Brian. Will these be American flowers - 'favorite' with no 'u' in it?!

    • BRIAN & ANGELA

YES INDEED STEVE ~ Some are UK ~ USA & Global ~ Necessity is the Mom / Mum of invention ! A Sonnet has 14 lines and FLOWER has 6 and FAVOURITE (9) hence I used FAVORITE (8) and invoked Poetic Licence ~ OK ~ Pleased you liked the presentation ~ despite the apparent "spello" ! You may have noticed HILITE in my blurb ! Yours BRIAN

        Thank u Steve & Brian! 💐

      • orchidee

Now is it American taste too? 'Savor'. Your keyboard got any 'u's?!
In that case, a colorful write Brian. I lose sleep over these things, ya know! heehee.

i remember my mother loved plants. could grow an entire bush from a single cutting. used to tell me foxgloves had a deadly toxin, called digitalis. in small enough quantities it was safe to use for heart conditions, such as my fathers. in larger doses, she warned - extremely deadly. i guess she warned me because as a child i used to eat them! lol

          • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thanks DAVE My Mum is a HERBALIST and considers that we can cure anything with plants. Digitalis is ~ as you mention ~ a heart drug in measured quantities she put nasturtium leaves in our salads etc ! A lot of prescription drugs like ASPIRIN etc are found in nature ! We all depend on PLANTS for our existence because they are the Primary Producers through PHOTOSYNTHESIS ~ the animals eat the plants and give us Protein and Fat Rich food ~ like milk ~ eggs ~ butter ~ cheese and of course meat etc. Plants are much more than just PRETTY ! Cotton & wool etc come from PLANTS ~ Thanks BRIAN
