AUCKLAND ~ A really great City
TWO great harbours ~ so many yachts
Ruth & I adore sailing
The Hospital has a Yacht Club !
The Staff at the Hospital
Very friendly ~ especially the
Maoris ~ such wonderful Nurses
Some of my Patients are Maoris !
The MEN have wonderful TATTOOS
They keep fit and dance !
It is now WINTER ~ so WE missed
SUMMER & AUTUMN in UK !
No SNOW ~ warm TEN C ~ FIFTY F
Rain FOUR to FIVE inches per MONTH !

RUTH (Radiography) and I (Physiotherapy) are on a YEAR
exchange in NEW ZEALAND ~ Because it is in the Southern
Hemisphere the Seasons are reversed ! WINTER ~ June -
July - August SPRING September - October - November
SUMMER December - January - February and AUTUMN
March - April - May ! Most of the trees in Auckland are
Evergreens so it doesn't look to wintery ~ It doesn't snow
in Auckland which is a blessing for Physiotherapists. Most
injuries are due to Bungee Jumping ~ Rock Climbing and
extreme canoeing ! The KIWIS are great at Sport especially
RUGBY ~ Rugby Players need a lot of Physio & Massage !

THANKS CHRIS ~ I love being in Auckland although I do miss BRIAN of course but he is coming in AUGUST when we plan to visit "The Bay of Islands" It will be the end of Winter. The People are all very friendly and folk from the UK are always very welcome. They love Harry & William and are still talking about Harry & Meghan's Wedding. Some days I feel like I'm in the UK ! Some of the Maori Nurses are teaching Ruth & I to do the Poi it is good exercise for the Arms and top-body ~ Hope you like the video. Hugs back at ya ~ ANGELA

CIAO ~ LAURA ~ Nostra Cara Bella Amica ! Pleased you liked the Poem ~ The MAORIS are a Physiotherapists Dream ~ because they are lovely movers and so active dancers ~ not just the legs & hips but their arms & shoulders as well with the POI ! Some of the Nurses are in a Dance Group and they have promised to teach Ruth and Angela ~ When I first visited NZ in 2000 for the Millennium ~ I fell in love with the Maoris and their Culture ~ can\'t wait to visit again (for the third time) in August ! THANKS FB ~ Only those who have visited have any idea of just how "COOL" NZ is which is why they filmed "Lord of the Ring" there.
