Tune: Salzburg
('At the Lamb's high feast we sing')
Hebrews 10 v.19-25
*********
Having we then boldness to
Enter holiest place through
The blood of Jesus, price paid
For us He His life down laid
We can come with confidence
By new, living way made hence
For us, through His flesh, the veil
He for us does still prevail
And He be our great high priest
To the greatest and the least
Over house of God He is
He our Saviour, we see this
So let us draw near having
A true heart, to Him it bring
Have full assurance of faith
For it shall be as He saith
And our heart let be sprinkled
From evil conscience, we called
And our bodies washed with pure
Water, which cleanses e'ermore
Let us hold fat profession
Of our faith, waver to none
Trusting in Jesus the Son
He our Saviour, holy one
For the Lord He faithful be
He who has promised us, see
And let us consider how
To stir up each other now
Unto love, and also do
Good works here through Christ anew
Not forsaking our meeting
Exhort, His Day is coming

Fine work Orchi
Thanks Michael.
Thanks STEVE ~ as with everything ~ the old ones are best ! The expression "Let us come boldly before the Throne of Grace" is for me the essence of what the NT is all about ~ especially Hebrews ~ When JESUS died for all our sins ~ He made access to GOD possible. Not subserviently but BOLDLY ~ not by Appointment Only but 24/7 ~ not ritualistically but intimately as a child to his DADDY ~ Abba Father ~ AMEN ~ Great uplift for a wet Wednesday ~ My FUSION need a FISH ! Yours BRIAN
Thanks Brian. Well, there's new ones that are good too! What I don't like are some meaningless 'choruses' of which they shall be sung about 20 times, then we sit down! Yet there is repetitive Taize, but I quite enjoy that. I was there in the 6th Century of course. I dunno any Latin, well about 3 words! Hmm, need to think of a fish!
His day is certainly coming but i wish he would hurry up.
Thanks Gold.
