Some issues I have will never heal

Sometimes it's hard just to feel

I stay up late at night,

Wondering how to get rid of these thoughts

And believe me, there are lots

I put up one heck of a fight.

No use in bringing up the past

those memories get me nowhere fast

They lead me to a sad place,

So forget them as I may

Some of them often stay

And it's written all over my face.

The doctor just wants to change my med

like that will just get into my head

'Cause my brain is just property,

Sick of feeling this way

But prepared for more of these days

When will I start to feel like me?

    A fine write Christina. It's easy to say, but maybe more difficult to do - maybe don't be 'prepared' for more of those days, but 'shake it off' somehow.

            Thanks CHRIS for a bitter / sweet Poem but one we can all emphasise with ! The past is deeply embedded in our sub~conscious and very difficult to shake off ! Issues ~ thoughts ~ sleepless nights and tired days etc ! It all makes life miserable ! GOD can help us to move on !
