3.  Having a loving FAMILY

4.  Having a Circle of Faithful Friends

5.  Being YOUNG (35) and HEALTHY

6.  Having a JOB I can do and I love ~ Science Lecturer

7.  Living in a stable DEMOCRACY ~ like the UK ~ AMEN 

8.  Living in a time of relative PEACE

9.  Being able to afford a Flat and a Car

10.  Having ENOUGH surplus income to help OTHERS

    A fine write Brian. A (very old?) hymn with same title? I first sang it at Sunday School in my pre-school days. 5 million years ago that was! lol.

          THANKS MIKE ~ We can all write down a list of 10 things in our lives we can be thankful for each day ! Everyone's list is different and of course our list also alters from time to time ! I'm grown up now and engaged so (after GOD) I now put ANGELA before FAMILY etc ~ hope that is OK ? I sometimes do this exercise with my YOUTH GROUP (14 to 18) and their lists are very interesting and also how they change as they mature ! Pleased you enjoyed it ~ BRIAN

            THANKS SISTER ~ Everybody's day to day LIFE is a mixture of UPS & DOWNS ~ the secret of HAPPINESS is to count Our Blessings (pleased you have 10+) and cope with the negatives and keep positive. You and I were both born into a Stable Democracy but with different degrees of fortune & heritage (what you have called LUCK) as Christians we have the capacity to cope (Fruit of the Spirit) but sometimes the negatives in LIFE can depress us ~ for this we need to pray and be prayed for ~ as you know. Death and Deception etc are very difficult to deal with ~ even for Christians ~ and can lead to depression ~ Every Blessing ~ Hugs ~ Tus Hermanos BRIAN y ANGELA @@@@@@@
