SOME ONE LINERS

Michael Edwards

SOME ONE LINERS

Muddy waters do not stain moonlight

A noose around the neck may tighten its hold.

Greed is the religion of envy.

He who rides a high horse may find it hard to dismount

    Some thoughtful words there Michael.

A fine write Michael. I may have to get off me 'hobby-horse' - waffling on about nothing in particular, and boring everyone with it! heehee.

    • Michael Edwards

When you are on your hobby horse do you put on your armour?
Did you ride it in 1066?
      Do you wear a mask?
Do you sing 'High Ho Silver Away!'

      So many questions !!

      • orchidee

Erm, yes to all that - and I was on a hobby-horse in 1066. I wondered why I didn't get far. just kept rocking back and forth! doh!

He who rides a 'high' horse has lost his sense of smell.
Muddy Waters sang his blues to the moonlight.
        No noose is good noose.
Greed always gets me more gravy.

        Couldn't resist the above.

Thanks for the comment and smile dusk . Glad you didn't resist.

          Michael,
          Great one liners!
Some advice for “He who rides a high horse...”
It’s advisable to learn how to dismount that high horse to get along in this world!

          Beautiful flowers!

          ~Laura~

Don't enter a revolving door backwards - you won't know if you are coming or going.

                Thanks Brian

Cooeeeeee - how's your evening going (or gone by now?!). It's me - on the sherry probably! lol.

                • Michael Edwards

Not good - two hours of soaps in the living room and I escaped to the study only to see Russia win - no not good - any sherry left over?

                  • orchidee

Not EastEnders surely? Mr Potato Head is in it, as the papers call him (Phil Mitchell). heehee.
