Cat Wars.

Goldfinch60

There is a new boy in town,

The boss is put out,

As the new boy wants to take over.

But the boss is having none of it,

So they fight and scream and yell,

The battle of the cats is now on;

Or it could be,

That Orchi has found my home

And he is singing

Beneath my window?

Well I guess you know what I think about cats - or rather their irresponsible owners. Nevertheless a great fun write Andy.

I share your views on cats Michael, and the new one is being 'discouraged' into coming into our garden, I have a magnificent water blaster which can reach the bottom of the garden. Thank you for the comment, just a fun piece.

Heehee a fine write Gold. Some don't believe me if I say they can't tell the difference between me and two cats fighting!
Ahh, there's a smallish tortoiseshell cat in our road.
Also another one the same, with its companion, a more tabby sort.
Also, a very large but friendly black-and-white one that roams about. Too heavy to pick him up!

Thanks Orchi, cats are a nuisance.

Personally i adore cats. Such a fine life form.
Very entertaining nocturnal challenges. Keep us posted, will one of them disappear or become a defeated shadow of its former glory.
A great subject for your superb writing.

Thank you da, the reigning 'monarch' is getting older so I believe the new feline will soon be 'king'.

            Andy,

Watch out for that Orchi guy!

I always watch out for Orchi and have done since pre-historic days.

Thanks ANDY ~ Have heard the CATS DUET several times but only once in the flesh (or should that be FUR) a great fun piece. In addition to their 100 positive drawbacks even CATS have the odd bad trait ~ and nocturnal singing is one of them. In my book however its reversed with D * * S many more NEGATIVES than POSITIVES ! Thanks for sharing Poem & Purrrrrring ~ Yours BRIAN

Thank you Brian, I am a dog man, and was brought up with dogs, that kennel was uncomfortable sometimes. I do not have a dog at present but it is often in my mind.
