SINGLE HANDED

Fay Slimm.

Single-Handed.

Roll up a spent life-time and dance.
Stow pockets of learned behaviour.
Drive to agelessness single-handed.
Do yourself an immeasurable favour.

Jump on a cloud sailing to dreams.
Lost ambition dims roads forward.
Glean strength bent on just being.
Achieving delivers ample rewards.

Silver Surfer is an apt name-term
Chase new ways to find adventure.
Zeal still reveals an exciting world.
It's never to late to define success.

Go buy yourself the starter-kit set.
You most likely will never regret it.

Thanks FAY ~ Great advice for all GERIATRICS ~ My Granny has mastered the Computer and is now a Silver Surfer we have put an 18+ block on it ! For computer literate 70+ "Future learn" offers a plethora of Superb Short on-line courses to keep their Brains active. Saga offers door to door Age-friendly Cruises (with handsome male escorts ~ my Granny tells me ~ to dance with) and Holidays as do Warners (no KIDS !) So far the NHS provides Pacemakers ~ Physiotherapy ~ Free Joints (not cocaine) There are also plenty of Clubs ~ Probus ~ WI and Church based which cater for the retired. I only hope all these facilties will still be available in 2053 when I will need them and a THREE WHEEL ~ Harley Davidson to ride Route 66 ! As in your PICTURE. Thanks for caring & sharing ~ Yours as always BRIAN ~ Please check my World Cup Poems while ENGLAND are still in the MIX ~ I'm still flying the flag ~ Thanks B !

It's never too late to enjoy life at you capability. Getting older should be fun. We need to look at the elderly as still needed members of society and not a burden. Loved this!

Thanks so much dear friend for your input on what we can learn from elderly members of society - glad you enjoyed the read.

A fine write Fay. There's nothing like the WI - some are stern, strict, old school - fearful! lol.

Oh Fay you do look so cute astride that motorbike.
Being of that certain age there are many things on my 'would love to try or do' list. But i'm not sure my knees and back want me to get stuck in.
