Some were Black & some were White
But I was a GEEK ~ my Dad was GREEK
So I was an Olive Sprout
I was in between ~ I could'ave been GREEN
SO ~ I was the ~ ODD ONE OUT !
GIRLS are nice ~ all Sugar & Spice
BOYS make Noys ~ with aggressive Toys
They love to Twist & Shout
But I loved Keats ~ Wordsworth & Yeats
SO ~ I was the ~ ODD ONE OUT !
We went to the BATHS ~ Kids Dunked & Splashed
BUT ~ I learned to dive ~ when I was FIVE
Summersalt turnin' inside out
With a flick of my wrist ~ a Double Twist
SO ~ I was the ~ ODD ONE OUT
Einstein ~ Galileo ~ Watts ~ Marconi
They all were ~ ODD ONES OUT
People thought them Phoney ~ a load of Baloney
But their THEORIES ~ they did not doubt
I KNOW BECAUSE ~ I WILL WALK ON MARS*
COS I AM THE ~ ODD ONE OUT !

THANKS HEART ~ At the moment NASA are looking for Young Scientists (under 40 and unmarried) who are prepared to go to Mars and stay there for at least ONE YEAR ~ but with the possibility of NEVER coming back to EARTH ! Making MARS habitable is a tall order ~ SHE needs OXYGEN ~ WATER ~ Fertile SOIL ~ Humans ~ Plants & Animals etc BUZZ ALDRIN (87) thinks it can be done so who am I to argue to ARGUE with BUZZ ? ANGELA could apply because we will definitely need PHYSIOS & MASSEUSES on MARS ! Yours BRIAN

Ta-dah, just thought of that. Pfft, me 'idea' light-bulb has blown a fuse! One day a light bulb at home jumped out of its socket on to the floor. Spooky!
Will we all burn up there on Mars? Is it too hot there? I've forgotten some of me science and geography!
Thanks STEVE ~ VENUS is too hot (and a good tennis player !) MARS is too hot (in the day) and too cold (in the night) because it has no atmosphere. We would need to take OXYGEN (or make it in situ from OXIDES) we would lso need potable water ~ soil ~ plants ~ animals and at least 200 Humans (Geeks) etc. BUZZ wont have to go ~ HE will be105 in 2035 and will be in Paradise (He is a Presbyterian Elder and the only Man to celebrate Communion on the MOON ~ but don't tell NASA) It is impossible to turn MARS into an Earthlike Planet as "Earth Overspill" when the Human population triples to 23 billion (but don't tell BUZZ !). Thanks CHRIS I have always loved Poetry & Classical Music form a very early age. My DAD is a Church Organist and worked on a NEWSPAPER and loves the Written & Spoken Word. As a child in Liverpool ~ I was taken to Classical Concerts ~ Musicals ~ Plays and Poetry Readings etc. ANGELA was aware I was interested in the Manned Mars Flight (2035 ?) because she has heard my Lecture on BUZZ and Space Colonization ! She says I can\\\'t go to MARS without HER and she won\\\'t stay in NZ without me ! 3 months on Mars ~ 3 months in NZ and 3 months in the UK seems like a good compromise!

We have been watching a recording of the ENGLAND SWEDEN game we are all very proud! It was broadcast at 2am (Sunday) here too early for Ruth and I to get up and watch it! CROATIA are leading RUSSIA 2:1 in extra time : I was hoping we would not have to play Russia in the Semi : who would you have preferred : talk later. HI ANGEL ~ pleased you are able to "watch" the FOOTY despite the time zone difference. As you know it's all over now and ENGLAND will play CROATIA who won 4:3 on Penalties I too prefer CROATIA (who are the better TEAM) politically ! If we had beaten Russia in the SEMIS it could have started WW3 ! Russia have done much better than forecast so I hope they will be satisfied and that there won't be any riots ! TAURANGA is very beautiful ~ so I am interested what your First Fusion has to say about it. IT would be wonderful to go with You to Mars but in 2035 I will be 52 ad too old and BUZZ tell me that is the earliest date for a Manned Launch.

Thanks MIKE ~ I found as the "ODD ONE OUT" I could be a weird (different) as I liked because I was "included out !" However on the odd occasions when I "included in !" it was much more difficult because I had to toe ~ THEIR LINE ~ accept THEIR RULES and submit to THEIR CULTURE ! I always have CLASSIC FM on in the Car and often Young Passengers will ask !"what type of music is that ~ it's MONOTONOUS ! The same people listen to RAPPERS and enjoy them !
