I AM FREE ~ Please don't grieve for ME
I've trod the Path GOD has for ME
I took His Hand ~ I heard His Call
I said GOODBYE and left it all !
I could not stay another day
To Laugh ~ to Love ~ to Work ~ to Play
Tasks left undone ~ must stay that way
I have found Peace ~ AT CLOSE OF PLAY !
Perhaps my time ~ seemed all too brief
I'm GONE ~ I'm FREE so do not grieve
My life's complete ~ I've done so much
Good Times ~ Good Friends ~ My Loving Touch !
Lift up your Hearts ~ Rejoice with ME
GOD need ME now ~ and I AM FREE ~ AMEN !

This poem is presented as a Rhyming 4 4 4 2 Sonnet.
The basic concept I AM FREE arose from an anon Poem.
We all have to die sometime ! I am not afraid to die
because I have inner assurance that I have through FAITH
ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN with GOD ! I like the positivity
in this Poem and would like it to be read @ my Funeral
in 60 or more years time ~ AMEN ~ Love to all BRIAN.

Thanks STEVE ~ You also know "The blessings of assurance of Eternal Life" and the fact that it eradicates any fear of DEATH. Angela & I expect to have 50 or more years of LIFE together ! However we see each stage of our life as complete should GOD call us HOME to HEAVEN ~ AMEN Yours BRIAN & ANGELA

Ohhhhhhhh BRIAN: This made me laugh and cry at the same time! I laughed because I though of the catch phrase I'm Free! and also pleased that you have such an assurance of a Home in Heaven! I cried because I never ever want You to Die at least not for the next 60 years when our Children & Grandchildren are all grown up ~ PROMISE? Love the Hymn we had a funeral here two weeks ago : it was a Celebration because the Sister was 87. When we sang "That will be Glory for me" everyone clapping and smiling: AWESOME.
