There\'s something about this poem that I like very much. \"autumn leave (leaf?) you decieve me\" I hate watching them go. Great poem!

The shadow of your life is always there especially in the light towards which we should all move towards. Good write.

Ah ... don\'t we all have a shadow, a dark side. Makes us all-the-more interesting, wouldn\'t you say? I like your poem, Nick!

Good write and very true. Does any of us ever see ourselves as others see us. We must become more self aware.

In short, I loved your poem and everything about it! The part I loved the most is \"Those who are guilty of the very things they have tried so hard to hide.\" I have encountered people like this , and I was once like this. I\'m not anymore, but its great for to be able to know I am no longer judgmental. But thank you for this amazing poem!

This is very true. If we all had the ability to see ourselves in an other person then maybe there wouldn\'t be judgement of one an other. It\'s hard for us to self reflect because the social norm distracts us and guides us away from self awareness and compassion for an other living being.

Now it\'s not morning in the UK, at my time of reading this, so it won\'t be too early to think this \'deep\'! heehee. A fine and true write Nick. Sometimes it\'s hidden in what we say the anonymous \"they\" do. And who are \"them\" and who are \"us\"?

Great write Nick. Filled with melancholy and regret. An abyss I know all too well. Thank you for pouring it out here for us to read and relate.

A fine write Nick. The picture reminds me of a somewhat mystical book I read. A man\'s fiancée is killed in a car accident on a bridge.
He looks into the water from the bridge. He sees her face in the water (not physically though).
Then he looks further. The waters sort of part. He sees deeper, and the waters eventually become the river in the Garden of Eden.
