Very good write and so true, those wonderful days seemed to last forever in our youth but pass so swiftly now I am in my 70th year.

I can relate to this Jeremy, great poem. The seasons seem to last forever when you\'re younger, enjoying country walks etc. Then when you visit the same places when you\'re older, all the emotions / memories come flooding back.

Great write - Syd

It\'s better to have tried and failed than not to have tried at all - or so they say. I haven\'t quite had your experiences but have changed jobs only to regret the move (more then once) so can empathise - great work Jeremy.

Good write, we must try to reach our goals but secure in the knowledge that all will be well if we miss them. One day we may reach them.

I\'m not alone in posting about summer today - this is a great piece and I wonder why so few write about what is around us instead of their tortured souls. Super write Jeremy.

Points well made in this compelling read and so well rhymed - - the truth about where the next stage of our journey takes us we just do not know - a worthy tribute Jeremy to the sudden and sad loss of a friend.
