Never forget that white light from the Sun is all the colours of the RAINBOW (R O Y G B I V) mixed together and it comes out WHITE not BLACK ! Plants absorb the red & blue so they reflect the green ~ The blue colour of the sky & sea is due to refraction. When raindrops (little prisms) let sunlight pass through them it forms a rainbow ! When the sunsets the white light is refracted giving red ~ orange ~ yellow ~ blue and violet ~ awesome.

To observe the LEAF CYCLE from the BUDS in Spring ~ to FULL LEAF in SUMMER ~ to the RAINBOW LEAVES in AUTUMN (FALL) always fills me with Wonder even thouh I\'m an Environmental Scientist and understand the Biochemistry that controls it.
