Healing

You are so right to have the balance now, that balance will give you experience and experience will lead you into a better life.

That\'s a great place to begin the rest of your life from gal/hen.

Being balanced will be your guardian when confronted with difficulties ahead.

Great to read your light out of darkness piece.

A fine write. Oooh, and Happy Birthday Meg! I was gonna sing \'Happy Birthday\' to you, but that would ruin your day - with my singing reputation! heehee.

Light After The Darkness

Aloha Meg,
You are so right. One thing I learned in my many years on this earth is that there will ALWAYS be another sunrise.

Refreshingly positive writing from a person who has clearly emerged from the darkness.

Masks

Another victim...
Its a shame that now we have to be at fault for merely believing in what we.
At least we do get to see the truth at some point.
Great piece!

Brought a smile to my face with the way you have phrased this very entertaining piece.

True enough but there again, to err is human.

Nightmare Next Door
dusk arising said:

That\'s life! Most people seem to find it easier to \'cold shoulder\' than to be realistic.

But realistic can be hard work.

No, don\'t go back. There\'s a new light in your soul which will not allow the darkness to surround you. It shines from your words today for all to read.

You have found your own way of coping Meg, may your life now be filled forever with joy and love.

Stay Beautiful
dusk arising said:

I guess that eventually the stuff we have been through and our coping mechanisms forms the two sides of our character. One the facade we present to the world, the other our inner motivation or \'what makes us tick\'.
Difficult to fathom out for a young person but i\'d say just relax into how you feel about things and dont fight those feelings. Be you. After a while you\'ll realise you\'ve found yourself.

Interesting. Will it make any difference telling them if they already know it from your actions?

And see YOU hen..... please make comments about other peoples poetry etc on here. It\'s how this site works best.

White Feather

Every time you see a white feather an Angel has been caring for you.
Your Spirit is out there and will be for eternity, I agree with what dusk arising says .

With buddhism there is no deity, no god (other than yourself) but there is more. Worth exploring but easier to talk to a buddhist than to read about it. Every book i have seen gets rather boring, but maybe i\'m just not bookish.
Yes there\'s definitely something more I agree.

Well written and never ridiculous, just need to aline them back into one. This definitely always easier said than done but keep expressing, maybe offer it a bath ;)

I once wrote about inviting my main demon for tea!
Much peace and respect on your journey

Is Anyone Happy?
Goldfinch60 said:

Social media is a scourge on this world, to walk with nature in a simple untroubled way is the way to find peace within oneself.
As to what we look like it does not matter, I have a philosophy that says if people do not like the way I look it is their problem, not mine.

The Hardest Goodbye
dusk arising said:

Having read your 2nd piece I thought I\'d take a look at your first. Glad i did.

Hard goodbyes are a bitter pill but theres always a positive to take away. That old phrase \"what dont kill ya makes ya stronger\" is a gem of a truth you know.
You\'ve obviously had the love of someone special to you. Now you know that you are worthy of that special love don\'t you. So hold up your head \'cos it\'s out there for ya!

Self Harm but Not As You Know It
dusk arising said:

Love the message conveyed here. Most conventional self harmers start at an age where they cannot get hold of alcohol i think.
Nice to take the edges off lifes sharper corners with a little lubricant now and again though.
