Unseen Tomorrow
sorenbarrett said:

A ghost that has no voice and can not be seen. A spirit that goes unnoticed and misses the warmth of relationships. This may be true in this world as well even with the living. Sad

Trick or Treat, That\'s What They Say
sorenbarrett said:

A very good poem indeed and I had a similar experience in the 7th grade where my English teacher told me my poem must have been plagiarized but I won because I told her in an American court one is innocent until proven guilty and challenged her to find what was the poem I had copied. Very nice for the 6th grade I have to say

Ballade of the Tilt-A-Whirl
sorenbarrett said:

Now I have to say that I have never read a poem about a tilt-a-whirl before. This one was very descriptive and a fun ride in and of itself. Well done Matthew

drift in static
sorenbarrett said:

The use of colors heightens the mood described in this poem. There seems to be a mental drift as well and it carries me to a different dimension. Nicely done.

Should be compulsory to carry a remind you hammer.
The amount of people you have to remind of getting out of your way, brutal.

The Weight of Every Choice
sorenbarrett said:

A concept I have pondered many times over the years. It is well worded in this poem that contains good rhyme and flow. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction is the law but as on a snooker table it is almost impossible to predict all the ending positions of all the balls on a break. What will the consequences be of an action today in an hour, day, year, decade, or millennia.
