I am also a runner and am relating to your words and poetry towards the middle. Nature is one of the best things and running such a lifeline! “A retreat” and “bathe in” “small angels”…perfect!

I love your poetry! You write with an earnest and candid tone and I love the way it sounds. The message is also pertinent as I feel many of us deal with self-esteem issues. You wrote it greatly! 💖

Wowwwwww!!!! You have a talent my dear poet! This was art! Such a beautiful tale of evolution and development. I aim to inspire in my personal poetry and I mostly focus on this same topic as well: self-discovery and self-love. I feel that it is impossible to love others without first loving yourself. You literally encapsulated it so graciously in one lovely metaphor of a seed to growth. If your interested in what poems I talk about self-growth my poem Free Me From Me is one example that\'ll probably catch your attention. I also metaphorize us humans as seeds awaiting growth. I love this poem. Amazing! 💖

\'but this pothole ended up being 18 feet deep\'
(is that 18 feet, accounting for
every age of life you\'ve experienced?)
if so
how lucky you are, for having
all those wonderful moments
of living, awaiting your arrival..
(thanks for sharing!
but do remember, its always better
to avoid pain and suffering
when possible) lol

A great writing ) I can relate to that feeling of feeling ‘ unclean ‘ and ugly feelings and no , it isn’t nice
But yes , important to love ourselves
Even if we hold such feelings they are not the truth of who we are .. we are more than our feelings which can sometimes lie
