Thank you so much! It means a lot to me when someone says that they relate to my work

This is so personal yet so relatable. I love how it describes my feelings for my hometown. I enjoyed reading it so much and i hope you feel safe and happy wherever you end up.

Your very personal poem rang true to me. Several times I was in a place for a length of time, a place that made me feel \"out of place,\" Nothing there made me happy, yet upon leaving it was missed because it had become familiar to me. I guess that\'s why they say, \"There\'s no place like home.\"
Your poem is very well written. I see no capitalization or punctuation. Is this your style? The poem is direct and the language is straight-forward. It was a good read. - Phil A.

\'noses getting bigger

returns as a burden\'
Brilliant!
forgive my feeble attempt
at a poetic reply below
(have had similar conversations
or rather
ending\'s wrapped in bubble wrap
yet within us, that needle exists
prickling it disquiet
is this it, it needles
all those hopes and dreams
wished and unvoiced prayers
amounting to a box of belongings
a finale shadow\'s waving visage
and just like that
we\'re meant to turn a page
begin our lines again
but someday soon, far too soon
we know
we\'ll run out of blank pages
the past\'s ink
staining, our future\'s horizons
fearing
we won\'t have the energy left
when the right fit, walks into our life
we\'ll just be watching-on, lamenting
why poetry\'s right words
never come to us in time
and life\'s smile
is delivered in handful shards...)

Love this poem Katherine. You really expressed your emotions so profoundly and I think this is something that many of us can relate to. Sometimes we become latched on to a lover so excessively to the point where it feels like we can\'t even breathe without them.

god? this is so good? I love it so so much. Every line and word felt on point and right where it had to be. I think this is my favorite part:

“we used to love the walks
and laying down on earth
waiting for storm to rage
and the world to end”

You’re amazing!! Thank you for sharing!
