The parable of the lost sheep is a favorite, that you have expressed beautifully in this poem. Lovely pic and quote!

A fine write B, and a comforting theme. Baaa!!
Oh yes, the good Shepherd keeps \'watch\' over us - you know! :)
The Psalmist says this at the end of 176 verses even, of Psalm 119!

Over sharing but I think it\'s good and most know my saddest stories here as they are all written in my lines, sometimes sharing is deciding and we all have our own stories. 💖

This too shall pass
Teddy.15 said:

God gave my best friend in the world a totally disabled child and her dad tells me that he is very angry with the old boy upstairs, and I always tell him that we are never graced with that, that we cannot handle, in fact there is truly always someone worse off and it\'s true a couple so in love yet a deeply disabled child but I always think deeply in love that\'s the silver lining for me. I could never do it personally I know in my heart it takes a very gifted family to do it. I know that you too are going through something so I will just say publicly that I waited 38 years as a nursery school teacher to have a child of my own and life\'s cruel fate took my own mother when I was only 3 weeks into my pregnancy, she really was the love of my life, she died of a heart attack after we lost our brother, I will always say she died of a broken heart. 💖 thank you beautiful heart you have.

I saw a bird, if its \'silly\' - a jay, I think, looking round, observing life!
Sometimes some hymns we can \'hide\' behind, if they\'re too \'general\', if you know what I mean?

Reading your words I admire the strength of your faith. I suppose we find faith in different ways, and when it all coalesces into one love for all, then we are truly blessed, and we share. God bless dear poetess.

I\'m NOT joyful about TWO hats passed round in same service for two collections in the same service. Doh! That\'s being greedy.

Sometimes I think \'Should people be so joyful in church?\' followed by the old thing we dig up ....while there are people starving in the world, etc?\'
Well, yes, OK to rejoice I say, as long it doesn\'t become escapism, or \'I\'m all right, Jack (or Sue, or whoever!)\'.

Giving up
orchidee said:

I know - it\'s easy for seemingly \'super-spiritual\' preachers to give cliches, even verses (though true as they are).
Sometimes I fuss about folk enjoying themselves too much, as if having no troubles. Eh?
Yet we were partly made to praise God, happy clappy, or whatever style.

Yes, there\'s the temptation to give up, e.g. in prayers - seemingly not answered sometimes; or not in the way WE wish them to be answered.
KP of course wants her cake AND wants to eat it too! lol. Her latest thing (in the papers again of course) is writing to a 70 year old prisoner. Doh! You couldn\'t make it up.
