It’s funny and depressing how religions can be so similar yet so different. The poem’s good.👏

It\'s quite sad for me to read this as you are so young, I think today\'s child has a bit too much on their plate. Excellent work. 🌹

The antithesis of this poem, along with the balanced flow make this poem quite profound, asking the questions of life. Good Write!

Thanks Orchidee, but I didn\'t write it, it\'s one of my favourite poems from a poem collection from 1932. By Kathryn Munro.😊

I wish my family was like that, but I\'m glad that you have a good family, I\'m also glad that my family isn\'t like that because every scar is a reminder that you have gone through harshness and that you can get through it again

The Crown Of \"Faith\".

I\'m Catholic and I\'m not offended. Perhaps it\'s because I\'ve only been a Catholic since 2015 right before my 38th birthday. Before I never knew religion really.

It\'s a solid piece with a strong message.

Mom and Dad
ChadVader said:

You have a lovely family. I\'m a little jealous to be honest. I wonder if my life would have been different if I had a Mom that actually cared. I never knew my father. And by the time I figured out who he was, he had already passed on.

My Mom had 3 loves in life. My younger half sister, the bottle and drugs as in whatever she could get her hands on. I was never good enough. So I ran the streets or stayed with my grandparents to avoid the constant belittling, yelling,or hitting. I refused to hit back, but that only made her hit harder. Many days I went to school with a black eye or a broken nose or a dislocated jaw. Not once did I tell anyone how it happened. It was always a dirt bike accident or I fell off the trampoline.

We started to get along only shortly before she passed on in 2015. So I count that as a plus even if it was short lived

I give you credit, your pen game is way better than mine. You write from a wonderful place in the light. I write from the darkness of pain and heartache. Wonderfully written I can\'t help but smile when I read it.

Nice piece. It reminds me of a graduation speech that was set to music in the 90\'s Baz Luhrmann released the song “Everybody\'s Free To Wear Sunscreen\". I\'ll look for a YouTube link.

Love\'s One Of A Kind.
ChadVader said:

I like your description of love. It has to be the most powerful thing in life really. When all is said and done. It\'s the mark you leave in the hearts of those you left behind.

I can only hope that I\'ve left warm feelings and great memories in everyone that has cared about me in life.

Listen to What Im Not Saying.
ChadVader said:

Everyone wears a mask. Even the most confident person has something they fear or envy or wish that they were. It\'s easy to be someone else. it\'s hard to face the world as yourself. I haven\'t met a single person that actually does. Great work.

I appreciate how your writing style can change and conform to so many different styles. I\'m picking up Edgar Allen Poe... Not for the content, but in the flow. Your message is a strong one. And it truly is beautiful. Great job... And yes I\'m probably going to read and comment on all. You\'ve gained a fan.

So I read this as The Lord being the one talking to the Little One. It could be a parent too but it works well either way. I love the Tupac inspiration.

Everyone feels this from time to time. It\'s amazing how eloquently you were able to pack so much into something that on the surface looks simple and in reality it\'s anything but. Two thumbs way up for this one.
