Very strong and understandable words David. I can understand this in that I now believe that organised religion is a farce.

It is all in a point of view. We can choose how we see things. A very good lesson to learn. Nicely done.

How reassured that child must have been. She must have felt that security all around her. Nicely conveyed lines. Enjoyed the flow, the rhyme and the imagery. Well done David.

From a woman’s perspective, the end of the road has been reached.and who would blame her for leaving. She has become an empty shell. A sad poem David, you convey Belinda’s plight well.

The world is tough and the human race has many deficits evolution will tell what is right. But as for this poem I judge it a thought provoking and wonderful write.

You have penned this beautifully David. There are many questions here which really stimulate the thinking. I abhor violence but would use it without hesitation if any of my loved ones were being attacked. I fear that rage, but I know it’s there. It’s not bravery, it’s survival. Men crying tears, is not a weakness, I see it as a strength. So much here to think about. An excellent write. Have a happy Tuesday.

Good write David! What would you do if your family was starving? Is it bravery to steal from another hungry family? The poem really made me think!👍

A great story and a great metaphor as well. Society has toppled the trees move the hills where they are no longer welcome. We do the same with people that are not desirable. They clutter up our parks and our eye sores. We push them away out of sight to another place
